About the inbetweenish.
In late 2021, inbetweenish was born out of my own identity crisis and frustration with the term Third Culture Kids (TCK). I realized there are many more cross-cultural scenarios that TCK doesn't quite cover.
Ruth Van Reek's has outlined the term: Cross-Cultural Kids. This not only includes TCKs, but also many other cross-cultural upbringings from being internationally adopted, to biculturalism, to children of immigrants, to children of refugees and many more.
